Intergenerational activities are becoming a regular part of Christian Education at Trinity. These experiences can be fun and memorable ways to grow in knowledge and understanding. In the process, people of various ages have the opportunity to get to know each other and to learn from one another. Events such as our special Lenten series foster interactions across age groups. Older generations get to hear profound insights from some of our younger participants, and vice versa.

This summer, we are having a series of intergenerational events during Sunday School. Children, youth, and adults can share joy, wonder, and love. The overall theme is “Summer Learn and Play”. These events include “Fun with the Bible” on June 27th,  “A Day at the Lake to Remember” on July 11th, and “Trinity Prayer Buddies” on August 8th.

The Christian Education Committee is planning another series of intergenerational events for the new school year. Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we will invite all ages to come together for Sunday School. These gatherings will be led by church members. The first will be on August 29th.
