Trinity Presbyterian Church will celebrate its Scottish heritage Sunday, Jan. 29, with a Kirkin’ O’ the Tartans during regular church service at 9:30 a.m. Those attending are welcomed to bring or wear their family tartan. Also, a small piece of tartan cloth (a tie or scarf) may be placed on trays as you enter. These will be blessed during the service. During fellowship time after the service, Mike Goree will call the clans. At an INTERGENERATIONAL session at 11 a.m. bag piper Tim Gordon will speak of his experiences and the Scottish culture. Guests are welcomed.
